The faces we become.
Original paintings, somewhere between abstract and realism. Each painting invites you to see yourself differently. Each piece is sold personally, so if you're interested in an original or a commission, let's talk.
The prints are here.
Eighteen signed prints, most in small editions, some one-offs, from $25. An easier way in than an original, and once an edition sells through, it's gone.
Signed by Amit. Editions won't be reprinted.

Painted in the room.
Amit paints full canvases live at festivals and events, set up by the crowd, making something that fits the night. Here's where to catch him next.
Out in the world.
Painted live, framed, and taken home. Amit's pieces leave with the people who connect with them, and businesses commission him for their spaces too.

I paint the shift between holding on and letting go. You're meant to feel it, not just see it.
Amit Tejpal is a Toronto-based visual artist whose work explores transformation, self-discovery, and the emotional tension between holding on and letting go. Through expressive color, layered texture, and symbolic portraiture, his paintings reflect inner states of change, awareness, and liberation from old identities.
Inspired by spirituality and the journey of becoming, Amit creates pieces that invite viewers to reconnect with themselves and question the patterns that shape their lives. His work blends abstraction and realism to create paintings that feel both intimate and transformative.
- Exhibited at Northern Contemporary Gallery, Toronto, 2025
- Live painting with Living Color Events · Puzzles Entertainment Inc · Open Canvas Art, Trillium Park
